April Currently

I am linking up today with Farley for her monthly currently linky!

Listening: I love being home in the mornings and being able to watch the Today Show!!

Loving: I am on Spring Break this week....woot woot!

Thinking: I seriously suck at interviews. I am confident in my teaching abilities so why do I feel like I'm not able to show that during an interview! I had an interview yesterday and didn't feel like it went very well :(.

Wanting: I have been looking forward to Spring Break for so long so that I can work out in my yard. Well.... its freezing outside,  so I won't be working out in the yard. UGH

Needing: I need to be productive this week!

What's new with you this month? Link up!

  1. I'm right there with you on the yardwork. I am home today with a sick child, so maybe this after noon I'll wander out and get some flower beds cleaned out. Good luck with your projects.

  2. Hi-

So sorry to hear about the interview - I bet it went better than you thought. We can so hard on ourselves. When the ride job comes along, it will all come together. Hang in there!

I am in WI and on break, too. We have COLD weather today. I am so over it.

Don't you just love being able to watch the morning shows???

  4. I ran across your blog as I was browsing for other Illinois teacher blogs. I'm sorry to hear about your interview. It can be so confusing and hard to know what they want to hear! I was lucky enough to sit in on an interview this year because a teacher on my team retired midyear. It was fascinating looking at it from the other side and getting to hear the feedback from our principal of what he liked and what he didn't like about the candidates answers. I'm sure you've heard this before, but be as specific as you can with your answers. If you think you're being specific, be more specific. Hope you had a great spring break!

  5. I hope your interview went better than you thought! Sometimes we second guess ourselves too much. One thing I did in my last interview was to bring in a portfolio of pictures and items from my previous job. When they asked questions about certain things I had evidence to show them. Good luck!
