Let's Get Acquainted: My Classroom

I finally remembered to bring my camera to school so I could take pictures of my three favorite parts of my classroom! I'm a little late linking up but better late than never! So for this week's Let's Get Acquainted Linky the topic is My Classroom.

My favorite part of my classroom is defnitely my reading corner. This year I added a chair, pillows, and a rug. It is now the perfect place for the students to relax and read!

Next up is my United States map bulletin board. This has been very useful while learning the states and capitals this year and it's bright and colorful, which I love!

Finally, I LOVE my windows! My first year of teaching I had a classroom with no windows, so having a whole wall of windows now is absolutely wonderful!!

What are your favorite parts of your classroom?

  1. I love your windows. I have huge windows too and can't imagine having to work in a classroom without them! Love your carpet.

  3. I have large window in my classroom, too. We just had new shades put into our classrooms, because in the afternoon the sun can be pretty harsh on my side of the building. I wouldn't trade my windows for anything.

  4. Love finding other 4th grade blogs! :) Also, I seriously am loving that map bulletin board. I keep telling myself I need to make one, yet I have zero drawing abilities---like, zero, for real!

    I'm follower #95.. you're close to 100. Congrats!

  9. Thanks for sharing your classroom. I too have had the windowless room, and now I have south-facing windows which I appreciate every day. I'm so glad I found your blog. Thanks for letting us peek into your classroom.
